  • Here Be Monsters.

    [run away, run away]

Or stand and take the victory they're trying to keep from you.

I've had this really simple idea.

When you push for more and start crying out and getting deeper, becoming more intertwined with your Father, it draws the attention of heaven. Not that you don't already have it, but it sets you up to receive more. As we become more like Jesus, we become more like the couriers of heaven that we are supposed to be. And when this happens, we can handle and be trusted with more of heaven.

The thing is, when you start moving and getting the attention of heaven and really start making waves, odds are the Enemy will see that and send opposition.

Good news is, Jesus already bought the victory for every conflict you will ever face. Now you just need to be in tune with your Father and know how he is directing you to claim that victory.

Why bring up any of this?

If you want more, prepare for opposition. And that has everything to do with being at rest in your Father, not anxious about anything. Hungry and diligent for more, but not striving and worrying about whether you're getting it. That's self-defeating, I think, and invites the Enemy to make you worry more. And worry is the brother of fear, and fear is the anti-thesis of faith.

The distraction, the business that suddenly comes up when you start to have breakthrough- I firmly believe that's the Enemy. It's too coincidental.

So treat it like it is, and let nothing sway you. The faithful with a little now are those who can be trusted with much later on.

I would like some "much," please.

    And that's all.

    Your humble servant,
    -Ethan
